The tourism sector is one of the fastest growing sectors in South Africa. This and the 2010 World Cup Football tournament make this sector an important focus for government and public sector alike. As such the South African Institute for Entrepreneurship is developing materials that can be used to address certain development needs in this sector. An expressed need was identified for the development of an interactive simulation that assisted tourism service providers across the South African economy to improve their levels of customer service. In response to this need the South African Institute for Entrepreneurship has developed its first tourism development programme called Welcome World.
