Partner(s):Cence is an organisation uniquely positioned to address training and development needs within communities around the country, due to its collaborative approach to development. This includes its training systems, networks, existing infrastructure and management experience. Cence, through the development of strategic partnerships, offers a number of skills development options. These partnerships are aimed at assisting in the development of communities and include both funding and delivery partners. In collaboration with our partners we offer a holistic training and development solutions aimed at community members and leaders, youth, entrepreneurs and educators based on community development needs and community member requirements. Cence focuses on facilitating development by securing the necessary resources needed to train and develop community members in various aspects of financial and business management, identifying service providers, planning and managing each project, and quality assuring all activities on behalf of funders/ donors and the community. Cence, as a facilitator of development, is an implementation agency working with strategic partners in both the private and public business sectors to develop and implement skills development programmes that create opportunities for community members to develop the necessary skills to either gain employment or to start up their own micro or small business. For more information please visit http://www.cence.co.za/ Our Involvement:Communities that are served by Cence receive SAIE’s AgriPlanner training to equip them with the technical expertise necessary for them to operate their micro agribusinesses professionally. Recipients of AgriPlanner training diffuse their knowledge to the broader communities through subsequent training and mentoring. The user friendly AgriPlanner material is ideal for use in communities that suffer deficiencies in literacy levels. Project Progress:n/a |
