Our Involvement:

Beyond the regular, formalized long term programs like BEST Game and BusinessVENTURES, SAIE business development expertise is also leveraged through independent agents as “special projects”. Because of the irregular character of the special projects, they do not have an established, ongoing program implementation mechanism, thus “special projects.” In most cases, independent agents conduct the training after receiving master trainer training from SAIE. In other cases, SAIE service providers and staff may conduct the training on behalf of the firm. The training is usually customized to meet the unique characteristics of the recipient groups.

Project Progress:

Requirement DWDE requires SAIE to ptovide training in BOTTOM LINE BASICS to persons designated by the organisation.

Purpose The purpose of the training is to equip the designated persons with a basic understanding of managing a business.

Methodology The programme is highly interactive with emphasis on group discussion and real life simulation. Focus is on the allocation of resources and the understanding and management of financial matters.

Participants DWDE requires the training of 25 persons, including 3 DWDE facilitators who will be equipped to conduct subsequent training on their own. DWDE also requires a BLB kit and 25 participant workbooks.

Duration Training will be scheduled to start as early as possible in February 2010. Training will last for a period of 15 days, with each 5-day period interspersed with two to three weeks back at the workshop for consolidation of the learning.
