Partner(s):The Men at the Side of the Road (M.S.R.) / Tjommies Project comprises of participants aged between 19 and 26 years from diverse backgrounds and cultures. The main objective of the project is to enhance their skills as they all aspire to enter the hospitality or tourism industry. Their initial training was overseen by Cape Town Tourism and M.S.R. After completing the training they were designated to a site from where they will then operate, or provide the relevant tourism information to both local and international visitors. Our Involvement:SAIE managed the training of the Tjommies project, making sure that all the training objectives were met. Project Progress:The project has been completed and the training took place on the 24th and 25th July 2008. |
