TSiBA Education

Project details

Partner(s):

TSiBA Education provides private tertiary education in business. The programme begins with a distinctive Foundation Year Certificate in Business Administration which is supplemented with a Bachelor in Business Administration with a particular focus on Entrepreneurial Leadership. The degree is fully registered and accredited by the Department of Education and the Council on Higher Education.

TSiBA aims to attract students that are unable to gain financial access to tertiary education, by offering fully funded scholarships to successful applicants, and as such TSiBA Education partners with corporates who fund the operations and management of the organization. Our Involvement:

SAIE has partnered with TSiBA Education since 2005 with the aim of developing students’ entrepreneurial mindset and business skills. This interactive game simulates real market conditions and scenarios in a classroom setting and allows students to weigh up information, make decisions and react to consequences.

Project Progress:

The partnership between SAIE and TSiBA Education began in 2005 and has taken place annually since then. SAIE offers a tailor made modular programme (approximately 12 X 3 hourly sessions ideally once a week) and can be completed in 36 hours. It is advisable to have between 15 and 24 participants per group.

On average, SAIE trains three to four facilitators annually, who will continue to train about 100 to 120 learners annually.
